In a maroon cloth with gilt detail to spine, embossed detail to front cover, gilt to top edges, steel engraving frontispiece, bindings tight, clean pages. Near fine condition.

Appears to have been kept in the box as no shelf wear apparent.

Box does show wear with lip almost detached and wear at book edges.
