Highly decorative floral cartonnage binding to both boards with beautiful gilt detail, engraving/ frontispiece, binding tight, light wear/ rubbing to corners/spine edges, 239pp. Paste-down plate on inside front board notes this was given as a prize for a student at a boarding school. Very good antiquarian condition.
