A classic and internally visually engaging two-volume 1929 illustrated set of Kipling’s enduring Jungle Book tales.

These volumes retain their original dark green cloth bindings with gilt lettering. Noticeable wear to the boards and spine lettering and decorative details. The Jungle Book has a small white mark (approx. 1 inch) to the upper left of the front board and slight play to the front board (front hinge beginning to loosen but still holding). Bindings remain intact and usable. Internally, both volumes are very good, with clean, bright pages and well-preserved illustrations with only light, age-appropriate toning.Illustrated throughout with black-and-white plates and decorative elements, the books feature detailed vignette engravings and full-page illustrations that bring Mowgli’s world vividly to life. 

An appealing collectible set—ideal for those building a library of classic literature or illustrated works.
