Weidenmann was born in Switzerland and studied botany in Zurich. in 1856 he immigrated to the United States where he saw opportunities in landscape gardening and received large commissions for his landscape designs.
Four Full-page color plates with 23 full-page black and white plates, numerous smaller black & white drawings, binding tight, clean pages.
