The author, Edith Holden, created a diary of her countryside walks in Warwickshire, England and within this diary she created these beautiful illustrations and verse of the scenes around her. Her first entry was in 1906. Her beautiful artwork and notations became a book years after she passed.
In a green leather leatherette cover with gilt detail to spine, dust jacket per photo( moderate soiling), binding tight, very faint/ light foxing to page edges, beautifully illustrated with verse by author throughout, 184 pages. Light wear of book from time.
