Teal-blue bindings with black stamped floral & gilt detail. Gilt text to front boards and spines. Illustrated color-plates/ frontispiece with tissue guards to both volumes. Decorative floral endpapers. Numerous beautiful color-plates to each volume. Some rubbing to edges/corners. First 4 pages detached as a whole, but included. Pages show expected age toning and some foxing, most notably on prelims, but the plates remain bright and vivid. Binding is sound and overall in very good condition for age. 192pp,192pp.
