In 1990, the American Society for Horticultural Science initiated a Hall of Fame designed to "honor distinguished persons who have made monumental and unique contributions to horticulture" in which was given to this author. 

L. H. Bailey’s biography showing his achievements are remarkable and worthy of spending the time researching which to name two are which he made in the study of botany and also as a poet.

Tucked inside found 2 printed cards which states Cornell University came across a collection by this author, a prior dean to the school,  in storage and states they were presently being shared with faculty and alumni.

Green cloth with gilt lettering/ detail to front board & spine, binding tight, clean pages, bump to top of spine, 216 pp. Very good condition.
