Frederick William Faber (1814–1863) was an influential English theologian, hymn writer, and Catholic priest. He played a pivotal role in establishing the London Oratory, a community of priests known for their commitment to education and liturgical worship. Faber's hymns, including "Faith of Our Fathers" and "There's a Wideness in God's Mercy," became widely embraced in Christian worship, contributing to his enduring legacy.
