Godey’s Lady’s Book was an extremely popular magazine which began its publication in 1830 and ended in 1877. Some of the earlier works of Longfellow, Holmes, Poe, Harriet Beecher Stowe and more were first seen in these publications. Most known for its fashion plates, these also are filled with music, stories, poetry, embroidery patterns, & beautiful illustrations.

 Natural distressing from use in the past yet it does add character tho these lovely pieces. Step back in time perusing through the pages.
