The volume is attractively bound in half leather with marbled boards with marbled endpapers. Tight, sound binding. Pages are generally clean and the book is in very good condition overall, with expected light age toning and occasional minor faint foxing. It also carries period handwritten ownership and reading notes, adding the appealing character of a genuinely used nineteenth-century classical text.
