The author, Edith Holden, created a diary of her countryside walks in Warwickshire, England. Within this she drew painted beautiful illustrations and wrote verse around the scenes she painted. Her first entry was in 1906. Her beautiful artwork and notation became a book years after she passed.
Green leather boards with gilt lettering. Dust jacket included as seen in photo. Binding tight, clean pages, beautifully illustrated throughout, 186 pages. Near Fine condition.
