Bound in an ornate decorative cloth cover with intricate floral and geometric motifs in rich teal, gold, and chocolate brown—this is a prime example of late 19th-century gift book artistry. Gilt title and ornate design on cover and spine. Gilt to all page edges. The floral-patterned endpapers bear a touching inscription: “Blanche, from Annie. Christmas 1887.” A glimpse into a Victorian Christmas past. Very light rubbing to bottom spine edge.
