This edition is beautifully bound in three-quarter leather with maroon cloth boards, featuring gilt tooling to the spine and a gilt crest to the front board. Marbled endpapers and clean pages throughout. A school prize copy presented to Elsie Hayes from the County Secondary School, Peckham, dated 1927 — adding a lovely piece of provenance to this volume.
